It really impresses me that at the age of...I dont't know, maybe twelve or so, what I wanted to be was the president of Chile. That, was obviously influenced by Michelle Bachelet, who was president at that time. I don't want to do that any more, even when I turn fourteen I realized that, I'm not interested in politics or social work (thoug I know that in this contry politics are unavoidable). After my dad made me read Harry Potter I started to read for fun and basically I fell in love with literature and fiction. Because of that my first option of future career was literature, but no long after I found out that you only study literature to be a teacher or a seller in the Antartica or some other bookshop. It is a real pitty.
Finally I decided to film and TV because is not so diferent to what I was looking for in literature: telling stories. Of corse there are multiple areas of work in film and TV, like documentary, fiction, report, you can even end up in the theater. For that reason I liked the idea of this career, you can do a bunch of stuff...editing, lighting, direction, make up, costume, sound, dialogue...Dialogue was what most call my atention, but that is just because I like to write since I was little (that was also one of the reason to study literature for starters). And it really fits me because I like the esthetics, the experience you can give with just a image or a sound, that intrigues me.
In this few weeks I have had a very rewarding experience, the personalitys and interests, all is so much more different than school and in some ways is a relif to find someone alike you in some aspects (not in all of them of course). And I'm not particular enthusiastic about working abroad, but is not some thing I wouldn't consider, but fitst I want to have some experience here, in a familiar enviroment.
